Frankie's Wedding Weekend

We went to visit Virginia for my cousin Frankie’s wedding. We had a nice weekend!
Layla got to hold one of our newest family members

And we had to visit the dock while we were there! Main attractions: Yummy chicken wrap and carp!





That night we all got dolled up and headed to “Faukland Farms” for the nuptials.




Layla was my grandmas’ shadow for the night and I happen to know she didn’t mind at all! 

The wedding was beautiful and thankfully the storms held off until after the ceremony, but made for a pleasant breeze.
The next day we headed to see Dad and Donna and Layla took a joy ride!


We had a great and full weekend!

a little jumble of a post

We are proud of Layla’s artwork at school and always make sure it is on display 

She made a pirates hat and made sure Baby Alive wore it!

No this is not a flattering picture at all, but Layla took it and I think she did a great job

It was raining so we had a mini photo shoot.
This was probably a boring post, but I wanted to remember this. A few other things worth writing down are some funny quotes from Layla:
Me: did you live in Heaven before you were Born Layla?
Layla: no
Me: Where did you live?
Layla: Africa

Kelly's Baby Shower

My friends are busy producing more offspring, which calls for more showers  It is so much fun to watch a new mommy open cute little baby gifts!
Look at this little star that is so good at accessorizing 

And this little sugar that was so proud that she could say “yellow”, we all had no question what color crayon she was using! I heart this youngin

And this little sweetheart who only gets sweeter with every piece of cake she gobbles up! I love her solid appreciation for sweets! What ARE we going to do when these girls inhabit U-Dub!?—that is assuming U-Dub is still standing, there are quite a lot of college students who will make their way in out before these girls arrive 

I think it is great that they are BFFS and having babies at the same time! A girl, Emily for Julia and a Boy, Hayden for Kelly 

Garden Time!

Just a quick look at our garden- the Squash has now petered out due to some AWFUL insects that ate it up. It’s ok though, truth be told, we were pretty much over squash at this point!
Still have loads of tomatoes, cucumbers and green peppers though! Yay! We are awesome!
