Field Trip to the Corn Maze

Layla’s school went on a field trip to the Corn Maze this season! It was loads of fun for everyone J

This is Lalya’s threes class.

We got our little groups together and set out to conquer the maze! The girls were fearless and ready to go!

Each girl had a card that could be stamped at each letter they arrived at. It spelled out CORN. Once they reached N they had completed the maze.

After they were done, they were able to pick out a pumpkin!

And then they got to go on a hay ride, which everyone really enjoyed!

Reed, Jacob and Aaron

Even after that excitement, there were still more fun things to do! They got to play in Corn and Hay!

Making Corn Angels!

It was time for lunch! Everyone had so much fun on the field trip. It is so much fun for me to get to watch Layla have fun with her classmates and get to know them. These are cool kids!

Visit to the Farm

Before Halloween we went down to visit Will’s parents in Fayetteville. They took us to a really neat farm. We all enjoyed seeing the animals.

I think we may need to get her a pony ;)

We had really yummy ice cream and looked at the pumpkins.

This fellow had a lot to say!

I think I could really live in a perpetual season of Fall. I love everything about it!

It was a fun day!

Halloween 2011

After a fun filled weekend we were ready for Halloween. My mom gave Layla all of my old Barbies, and she has really enjoyed playing with them! She had to sleep with all of them for a few nights J

It was a very rainy Halloween day, so Cinderella set out for her treats with umbrella in hand

We decided to go out to dinner and had Layla’s favorite, Moes. The next stop was yummy Krispy Kreme for a Halloween treat!

It was a great day and the weather wasn’t so bad, sort of fit’s the feel of Halloween J Can’t wait to see what she will choose to be next year!

The Night Before Halloween

Before heading to Virginia, we started our Halloween project, and the first one from Pinterest, Ghost Pops! When we got back we finished up our project.

Cute! I loved them J

Then we started carving our pumpkin.

Will did a good job, didn’t he!

Snow in October!

The higher up the mountain we went the more and more snow we saw. It was beautiful J We parked and had a nice picnic.

We didn’t do any hiking this time around, but we did enjoy the view and being outside.

I love this picture, 2 seasons in one.

When we got home we had the most delicious dinner. Fried chicken and lemon risotto. Ridiculously yummy!

Then to top it off…

Oh. My.

The next day we ate a yummy lunch with my mom. It was a fabulous weekend!
