Apples and Pumpkins!

To start our Fall season we headed to Papa Bruce and Donna’s for a visit. Despite a rather sad start due to a very sick Georgie, we had a great weekend and Georgie came back to life around Saturday evening. We started our Saturday by going to pick out Apples and Pumpkins. We went up to Nelson county, you should google that because there is such an interesting weather story to read. It was a beautiful COLD day!









The apples were very tasty, as was the apple butter! Shortly after we got home from that visit I made homemade applesauce and am so happy with the way it turned out!



After the lovely warm time inside, we headed out to the ever billowing snow clouds.









I really like picking pumpkins from this patch. It was so much better than buying them off of a road side stand.












If you look at Will’s coat you can see the snow falling. Sadly this is the only snow I have seen this season and it is now January. Hopefully we will have some fall soon.





It was such a nice time picking apples and pumpkins. Next we headed up the mountain…..
