The day of the Tornado

I have never been around a tornado, but there was one this day in Raleigh! We had tickets to the wine festival and dad and Donna were on their way for a visit, but our day did not turn out as planned. It looked more like this….

No power and fancy orange juice  Despite the weather we had a great day. There was not a tornado at our house, but it was not too far away. There was a lot of damage to my route from home and throughout Holly Springs. It will be a day I don’t soon forget.

Layla had so much fun she just fell right asleep ;) haha Little Rotten Stinker is pretending, with her little apron and all her money! We hope there are no more tornados, we had everything ready to take cover, but thankfully we didn’t need to. We did have lots of rain to prep our garden dirt though!
